KPF, One Nine Elms, and DAMAC Tower Named as Finalists in the Tall Buildings Awards

KPF has been shortlisted for Best Tall Building Architect and recognised in multiple categories for the projects, One Nine Elms, and DAMAC Tower.

In the Best Residential Tower category, One Nine Elms serves as the focal point of the evolving Nine Elms district, with two slender towers dedicated to the Park Hyatt London River Thames Residences and Hotel. The project mixes different use types and tenures to create an active environment, providing almost 500 new apartments, high-scale amenities, and a central plaza with activated retail and hospitality.

Shortlisted in multiple categories, DAMAC Tower is an all-electric, mixed-use development in Nine Elms. The two residential towers are linked by a six storey office which intersects with the taller tower. The development is a finalist in the following categories: Best Sustainable Tall Building, Best Tall Building MEP Services Project, and Best Tall Façade & Fenestration Engineering Project.

Separately, KPF has been recognised, as a firm, in the Best Tall Building Architect Category. This award spotlights professional architects or architectural organisations that have successfully explained the technical and creative reasoning behind the specification of materials and systems used in their project.

The Tall Building Awards recognise innovative and proven construction technologies that will enhance and advance the design and construction of elevated structures. The awards look to demonstrate how innovative technologies can add real value to the tall buildings sector in terms of building safety, environmental practices, cost efficiencies and delivery timescales – offering  new solutions for others to follow.

Winners will be announced on June 25, see the full shortlist here.
