Jeffrey Kenoff and Greg Mell Present T. Rowe Price Headquarters at Facades+ DC

The KPF Principal and Director joined Max Beatty of Beatty Development for a presentation focused on the façade logic and human-scaled form of the headquarters building in Baltimore.

Following an introduction by Max, the project’s developer, Jeff and Greg discussed the design logic behind the façade of the new T. Rowe Price Headquarters in Baltimore. Helping to minimize the nine-story building’s height, the façade’s metal and glass composition relates to the pedestrian scale and connects the state-of-the-art workplace inside to its surrounding urban fabric and waterfront location. A gritty, cool-toned color palette references the area’s industrial legacy, while cutting-edge rainwater collection systems and an energy-efficient building envelope support the LEED Gold project’s environmental bona fides.

Organized by The Architects Newspaper, Facades+ invites leading designers, developers, and engineers to discuss emerging techniques and technologies in building enclosure design. The 2025 conference explored themes such as low-carbon materials, high performance systems, and notable recently completed projects.

The event took place on March 12 at the Westin Washington DC Downtown. Learn more and register to attend here.
