On June 18th, the KPF Principal and members of the design team showcased the mixed-use development’s façade makeup at the two-day event in Shenzhen.
Exploring the conference’s theme of “Innovation: Leading Shenzhen’s Future Metropolitan Circle,” Jeff went into detail about Huamu Lot 10’s façade concept and sustainability strategies as he presents the project. The mixed-use development, which includes three towers and a separate museum situated around a public plaza, meets China’s 3-Star environmental standards and includes operable windows, argon-insulated glazing, and low-reflectivity glass. The façade lighting system emphasizes the vertical-city theme of the three towers, while a unique scheme highlights the cantilevered sky lobbies. Jeff was joined by Senior Designer Katsu Shigemi and Job Captain Eric Engdahl, as they discussed the project’s design approach and sustainability, respectively. Following the presentation, Director Yong Ding participated in a Q&A session, alongside RFR Executive Director Yu Hui.
The conference was held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen from June 17th to 18th. Learn more about the event here.
