Guangzhou One Pengrui Named Winner of Two Asia Pacific Property Awards

The nature-integrated development was recognised in the “Residential High-Rise Architecture” and “Mixed-Use Architecture” categories for Guangdong Province, China.

Guangzhou One Pengrui demonstrates a new model for high-rise living, featuring 149 serviced apartments in a riverfront complex that synthesizes local landscapes with the urban environment. The towers’ elliptical contours are deliberately shaped to optimize orientation, ensuring privacy while framing panoramic views of the Pearl River. Designed for resilience, Guangzhou One Pengrui’s sponge city design integrates nature, porous paving, and rainwater management systems to promote ecological sustainability.

The project automatically advanced to the national awards, winners for this will be announced at the Asia Pacific Property Awards event in Bangkok, May 6-7.

Look back on last year’s winning project, Zayed International Airport, which was named World’s Best Architecture.
