On January 25, the Director of KPF’s West Coast Office spoke about the façade expression of the mixed-use development in San Francisco at the conference hosted by The Architect’s Newspaper.
In the presentation, “Scaling Up: Complex Façade Coordination in 415 Natoma,” Angela spoke about the design process behind the SoMa office and retail tower, which is conceived as a blend of both the historic and modern urban character of the city. The presentation highlighted how the team selected a variety of colors and textures to relate to the project’s surrounding neighborhoods while creating a unified whole.
Angela was joined by Earl Patrick, Director of Design at Enclos, and Adam Kyle, Associate Principal at MEYERS + ENGINEERS. John Kuchen of SOM moderated the panel.
