Carlos Cerezo Davila Discusses the Future of Sustainable Development on NYU Schack Panel

The KPF Global Head of Sustainability will participate in a plenary panel at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate’s Annual Conference on Sustainable Real Estate on February 2.

Designed as a conversational, big-picture exchange, “The Future of Sustainable Development” will explore how sustainable development is already evolving through practice—addressing performance, resilience, long-term value, and institutional change. Cerezo Davila will share KPF’s perspective on implementing future-facing sustainability strategies at both the building and urban scale, alongside insights from fellow panelists representing development, engineering, and academic viewpoints. Together, the discussion will examine the assumptions the industry may need to unlearn, and the capabilities required to lead the next phase of sustainable development.

The session will take place at 3:30 PM at the Rosenthal Pavilion in NYU’s Kimmel Center. Moderated by Laura Gruber of NYU Schack, the panel will bring together voices from academia, development, design, and engineering, including Professor Brian Schwagerl (NYU), Scott Frank (JBB), Lauren Moss (Vornado Realty Trust), and Varun Kohli (Corgan).
