Anna’s presentation, “Intent Over Output: AI in Practice at KPF,” will explore the role of the architect within a rapidly evolving profession shaped by technological innovation.
Anna considers what continues to differentiate architectural practice: the expertise required to understand a site, interrogate a brief, work within real-world constraints, and ultimately design something that can be built.
Drawing on KPF’s experience, Anna shares how AI is being applied across the firm, from enabling designers to develop custom tools themselves and testing design options in real time to reducing visualization costs. Rather than using technology simply to produce more, these applications demonstrate how it can support more informed and efficient design processes.
The annual RELEASE [AEC] conference brings together architecture, engineering, and construction professionals in Paris to explore emerging technologies and their impact on the built environment. This year’s event will also host the first in-person celebration of the Architizer Vision Awards, with the 2026 winners announced live.
