The luxury brand celebrated the milestone of its fourth property in China, located in the KPF-designed mixed-use development.
The Andaz, operated by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, opened this spring within Nanjing IFC, developed by Sun Hung Kai properties. The hotel occupies a full tower in the development, neighboring two grade-A office towers, IFC One and Two. The three structures are connected through a retail podium, making Nanjing IFC a premium destination for both work and leisure.
The 362-key Andaz Nanjing Hexi offers panoramic views of the city and over the Yangtze River, and guests will experience artistic expressions of local culture and landmarks, curated by Avalon Collective of Singapore. The hotel includes two dining options, the Tavern located on the 6th floor, an open-kitchen concept serving Chinese cuisine and bistro-style comfort food, and Meet@, a rooftop bar and restaurant on the 31st floor. Guests can enjoy the Wellness Club, a fitness studio with workout classes, along with an indoor pool and vitality pool.
“We are thrilled by this introduction of the vibrant Andaz brand to the Hexi CBD area,” said Stephen Ho, president of growth and operations for Asia Pacific, Hyatt. “This location is perfect for our inspiring Andaz brand, providing guests the opportunity to experience Nanjing’s rich culture.”
KPF has collaborated with Andaz on their hotel in Xintiandi, Shanghai, and with Sun Hung Kai Properties on Hong Kong’s International Commerce Centre. Read more about the Andaz Nanjing Hexi here.
