On March 26, the Senior Associate Principal moderated a discussion titled “New Urban Prototypes: A Framework for Human-Centric, Affordable Densities.”
During the webinar, Alex joined panellists Brian Phillips, Founding Principal and Creative Director of ISA, and Arthur Perez, Associate at SITELAB urban studio, to explore how we can build new cities that prioritize human activity and economic accessibility. Presenters shared recent projects to illustrate a scalable, people-first, development model. Attendees learned how this integrated model serves as reputable system for creating active, affordable, and high-end performing urban environments in North America and beyond.
Alex is the former Secretary of the AIA International region, and in 2025 served as Technical Advisor to the AIA International Design Awards jury.
