Reinforcing and reimagining one of the world’s most iconic hospitality brands, Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal offers unprecedented spaces that elevate the guest experience in bold new ways.
Instantly Iconic, Strikingly Familiar
Located on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah Island, the emirate’s premier resort destination, Atlantis The Royal serves as an architectural complement to the existing Atlantis, The Palm, itself one of the city’s iconic buildings.
The siting of Atlantis the Royal maximizes views and naturally separates conference, hotel, and residential facilities, providing each with dedicated drop-offs, entries, gardens, and views while remaining connected as an integral whole. The remainder of the site allows for stand-alone villas, restaurants, and beaches.
The building serves as an augmentation to the existing Atlantis, The Palm, itself one of the city’s iconic buildings. Together, the two form a resort precinct and entertainment destination.
Terraces in the Sky
Each of the blocks contains floors of typical suites and apartments, while the sky courts and terraces become gardens in the sky for major suites and duplex residents, affording views over Dubai. Passively ventilated by littoral winds, shaded by the blocks above, and regulated by the cooling effects of water, these unique outdoor spaces are comfortable most of the year and offer a world-unparalleled amenity.
The program separates hotel and residential components above a mix-use base, all within a relatively long and narrow site.
The massing is then fragmented to create a human scale and add porosity for views and light, resulting in sky courts and sky terraces.
The tower is then gently curved and stepped to further optimize views toward both Dubai and the gulf, as well as to incorporate the iconic Atlantis Arch.
World-Class Amenities
Woven throughout the towers are dozens of public and private amenity spaces, allowing for endless discovery and fitting every need.
Sky Pool
Centered on the sky bridge is the sky pool, which offers 360-degree views of the gulf and the skyline.
Resort Grounds
At the base, seamless indoor and outdoor spaces offer pools, gardens, and restaurants, all tuned to amplify shading and direct prevailing breezes to create a comfortable environment.
Porte-Cochere
Guests arrive in style at the grand entry.
Sky Terraces
Twenty sky terraces add further spaces for plunge pools and lounging.
Sky Courts & Villas
The fourteen sky courts include private and semi-private spaces for villas with plunge pools.
