Maciej believes that great architecture arises from open and forward-thinking ideas, nurtured and developed by committed teams, following efficient and tested design processes. He has a wealth of experience in large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, and residential projects in Europe, India, and the Far East.

Maciej is a dedicated team player and likes addressing challenges head-on. He enjoys putting user experiences first and has a unique ability to balance imaginative thinking with pragmatism. In Macau, he played a key role in the design and delivery of MGM Cotai, including work from early concept to delivery of “The Spectacle“, an immersive space featuring a record-breaking free-span gridshell glazed roof.

Understanding client values as a means for generating ideas, Maciej is a proven collaborator, as demonstrated at Place de l’Etoile in Luxembourg, for which he is supporting the client through a challenging planning process to gain approval for a state-of-the-art transport hub and mixed-use neighbourhood. The urban development will serve as an important mobility and housing function in the heart of the city.

Conscious of the challenges caused by climate change, he believes modern design needs to integrate better traditional construction methods with opportunities offered by technology to deliver more efficient, sustainable buildings.
