KPF reimagined the traditional office environment to meet the needs of one of the world’s most influential technology companies, securing the Merit award in Architecture.
The headquarters’ most striking feature, a 30-story atrium, fosters cross-department collaboration, enabling the serendipitous encounters that are necessary to spur innovation. This landmark building is a catalyst to the development of Shenzhen’s community of technology companies, reinforcing the city’s growing reputation as a global hub for technological innovation on a site which has been occupied by TP Link for almost 30 years.
The AIA Hong Kong Chapter’s annual Honors & Awards Program celebrates excellence in architecture, interiors, urban design, and unbuilt projects, aimed at increasing awareness of outstanding design, honor the architects, clients, and consultants who work together to improve the built environment, and promote the value of architecture to our community.
