Announced at last night’s award ceremony, the KPF-designed Baltimore office won an Honor Award in the Unbuilt Architecture category.
Founded in Baltimore in 1937, T. Rowe Price worked with KPF to design a new headquarters, comprised of two buildings linked by a lobby atrium. The project furthers Harbor Point’s redevelopment from a brownfield site to a pedestrian haven on the city’s waterfront. The new building and landscape work in concert to foster a variety of new community uses and active programs. Through humanization in scale, site porosity, and use, the T. Rowe Price headquarters not only seeks to revitalize the harbor district but set a new standard for extending the city’s urban fabric.
The recipients were announced and celebrated at an event on September 21st at College Park City Hall in Baltimore.
