On October 10, the KPF Principal moderated a conversation titled, “Value Engineering, Customisation and Productivity: The role of architecture as added value for the sustainability of real estate operations, balancing aesthetics, functionality and economics.”
Paul was joined by industry experts from Adamson Associates, Bryden Wood, Currie & Brown, Ritchie*Studio, and MOST Architecture. Paul led the discussion, drawing on his expertise on the topic as the managing principal for some of KPF’s most innovative, tech-forward projects including the transformation of Panorama St Paul’s, a cutting-edge, sustainable design of an outdated 1980s office building, reimagined as a contemporary workplace. The project retains around 70% of the original structure and has reused 1,500 tonnes of high-quality Portland stone and granite in its new, high-performance façade.
This year’s forum titled, “Envisioning the Future of Design: The Dialogue Between Architecture and Technology” celebrates the seventh architecture and interior design forum organised by THE PLAN magazine. The event was held at Church House Westminster, London. Learn more here.
