Oppo Chang An R&D Center Highlighted in Dezeen

The curvilinear tech campus is included in the publication’s list of ten “distinctive” skyscrapers around the world set to complete in 2025.

Located in Dongguan, China, the development will accommodate over 6,000 employees of the mobile phone brand OPPO and emphasize the company’s values of quality, craftmanship, and efficiency. The project features a 250-meter-tall office tower with amenities that include a sky hall, an R&D center, OPPO college, a preschool, a floating exhibition ring, flagship retail, and seven residential and serviced apartment towers.

Designed as a series of interconnected circles in plan, the campus establishes a strong sense of connectivity and accessibility. The central portion of the circles are left as voids, accommodating various functions as needed, including atria with vertical circulation, sunken plazas, interactive meeting areas, and verdant outdoor spaces.
