“One of the things that’s exciting for us is now the person closest to the problem can solve it,” Wilson said, explaining how KPF is building its own tools rather than waiting for outside labs to solve architecture’s unique problems. For example, KPF’s vibe-coding subagent lets employees build interfaces and web apps from simple text prompts, deployed only to KPF’s own servers. More than 400 apps were created in its first month, including one built by a principal who created her own interactive map to track leads in a new region.
