KPF Presents as part of Guangzhou Design Week

KPF showcased an exhibition of projects from around the region, and on December 3, Fausto Nunes, Senior Associate Principal from KPF’s Shanghai office, gave a speech, highlighting the firm’s sustainability goals.

KPF joined several other AIA member firms to compose an exhibition booth organized by the AIA International Region. The exhibition themed “Catalyze Change: Defining Future Urbanism” featured four KPF projects, including OPPO Changan R&D Center, One Shenzhen Bay, Qianhai Kerry Center, and Victoria Dockside. The projects were chosen for the way they represent KPF’s commitment to the Greater Bay Area, integrating state-of-the-art architecture with the surrounding landscape and community.

In the presentation titled “Where Do We Go from Here,” Nunes introduced KPF’s sustainable design commitment, illustrated in projects such as HKUST and OPPO Chang An R&D Center, and shared how the firm’s Environmental Performance and Urban Interface teams have aided the firm’s sustainable practices. Later in the conference, Nunes participated in the on-site judging for the World Youth Designer Award, an essential sub-event of Guangzhou Design Week.
