KPF Demonstrates Real World Applications of Technology to Solent University Students

Experts in the firm’s London office presented advanced design technologies and decarbonisation strategies to students of architecture and technology.

Hosted by KPF’s Design Technology and Environmental Performance teams, students gained insights on the practical application of technology in KPF projects around the globe – from evidence-based environmental design to how BIM, visualisation, and computational design are implemented. The presentation highlighted some of KPF’s most technically advanced projects such as 40 Charter Street, Beijing Century City, and a competition entry for a new stadium.

Presentations were given by specialist teams and architects from the design studio, including Paul Simovic, Martin Wilding, Elias Anka, Anastasiya Neumiarzhytskaya, Sheghaf Abo Saleh, Ralph Gebara and Anna Mytcul.

Based in Southampton, Solent University offers more than 200 qualifications ranging from HND to PhD and including several architectural and built environment courses.
