KPF Launches New Website with Emphasis on Visual Storytelling and Mission-Driven Design

The new KPF.com centers the firm’s mission of elevating cities through architecture that is attentive to context, craft, and performance with content and navigation that provides a meaningful understanding of the firm’s practice.

In celebration of its 49th anniversary this month, and looking ahead to many more, KPF proudly announces the launch of its new website, KPF.com, marking the start of a bold new chapter for the firm. Designed to pull back the curtain on the firm’s distinct architectural process, the new site offers a never-before-seen look into how KPF’s ideas take shape—from initial sketches to thorough analysis to fully realized buildings and spaces. This digital transformation is part of a broader evolution that includes the recent renovation of KPF’s New York Studio and a comprehensive refresh of internal graphic standards, underscoring the firm’s commitment to innovation and design excellence.

“KPF’s work sets high aspirations for improving our lives, enhancing our cities, and protecting our planet.  Telling the stories behind our projects—which play out across a great variety of cultures, scales, and typologies—required a new approach,” said James von Klemperer, KPF President. “This website is our answer: a platform that clearly communicates both the lofty ambitions and the innovative techniques that inspire our architecture.”

“Creating buildings that move cities forward demands innovative design ideas and a willingness to challenge convention,” said Forth Bagley, KPF Principal. “This website provides a window into that process, offering visitors a deeper understanding of how we shape the built environment through narrative thinking and collaboration.”

A Mission-Centered Homepage — The new homepage places KPF’s mission at the forefront, using bold visuals and clear messaging to articulate the firm’s dedication to thoughtful design, contextual sensitivity, and high-performance solutions. Visitors are welcomed with an introduction to KPF’s values and are invited to explore how these principles shape the firm’s global portfolio. Explore Context, Craft, and Performance.

A Story-Driven Project Experience — KPF’s new website introduces interactive project pages that bring the stories of the firm’s work to life. Each page features a rich array of dynamic content—including video, drawings, and diagrams—allowing users to engage with projects in new ways. These pages highlight the design process, challenges, and innovations that define KPF’s approach, providing a deeper understanding of each project’s impact. Explore Projects.

A People Page for the Entire Firm — Reflecting KPF’s collaborative culture, the new People page includes every member of the firm. Everyone is represented with a new headshot, celebrating the multi-disciplinary talent that drives KPF’s success at all levels and across all global offices. Principals have dedicated pages that showcase their particular approaches to architecture and highlight their expertise, offering insight into the leadership and vision behind KPF’s work. Explore People.

A Look Forward — As KPF approaches its 50th anniversary next year, the website redesign represents the first step in a broader initiative to propel the firm into the future. The new platform is designed to place KPF’s mission-driven work and thought leadership at the forefront, guided by a commitment to narrative thinking. By sharing the stories, ideas, and innovations that shape its projects and practice, KPF sets the stage for continued advancement in the field of architecture and invites its community to join in shaping the next chapter.
