Hana’s design approach has crucial implications for the ongoing evolution of the global urban landscape, considering the individual experience of urban space and the factors, including climate change, which shape it. Her work on projects such as the resiliency and recovery work at the NYCHA Red Hook Houses, the workplace design at Meta Farley, and the all-electric Vagelos Innovation Laboratories at Columbia University substantiate her belief in the power of architecture to positively impact the social and environmental fabric of cities. In conversation with Illya Azaroff, Principal at +lab Architects, former AIA National President and COP28-29 Delegation Chair; and Maryam Al-Sharji, Director of Real Estate Centre, Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning of Oman, Hana will “explore scalable solutions against extreme weather events.”
Hana’s panel, “Fireside Chat: Weathering the Storm – Climate-Resilient Infrastructure,” will take place at 5:15pm local time on November 11. Learn more and register here.
