On May 9th, the KPF Principal spoke on a panel about “open works,” designs that require participant interaction, and her collaborative experience creating Ensemble.
Hana worked with Sound Artist Spencer Topel on Ensemble, an installation that explores the spatial and acoustic resonance of our surroundings, on view currently at Art Omi in the Hudson Valley. The two spoke on the AIA New York panel, providing insight into their experience with architecture and installations that fit into the “open works” category, offering unique and dynamic experiences for viewers.
Hana and Spencer were joined by Nina Cooke John, Founder and Principal of Studio Cooke John; and Suchi Reddy, Founder of Reddymade. The panel was moderated by Julia van den Hout, Architecture Curator and Residency Program Director at Art Omi.
