Franz Prinsloo Speaks at Bisnow Austin State of the Market

On April 29, the KPF Senior Associate Principal joined industry leaders on a panel examining how experience, hospitality, and entertainment influence growth and culture in Austin, Texas.

Franz offered his perspective on how experience-driven concepts have influenced the evolution of Austin, one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing cities in the country. Having spent nearly a decade leading the design and delivery of mixed-use developments in Texas, Franz has built a body of work that includes projects such as Waterline and the Bank of America Tower at Parkside. These developments layer office, hospitality, and residential programs into fast-growing neighborhoods, creating dynamic urban experiences.

Franz spoke on the panel “24-Hour Austin,” moderated by Marci Hoxworth of Civilitude and featuring Drew Hanish of Pravo Construction, Will Woodworth of Peachtree Hotel Group, Gian Michael Piano of Presidium, and Calvin Gin of Luby’s. The discussion covered how the city’s restaurants, entertainment venues, hospitality options, and new mixed-use buildings, such as Waterline, provide foot traffic and demand that will continue to shape the character and development of the city’s neighborhoods.

The Austin State of the Market event took place at the Texas Bankers Building on April 29, with Franz’s panel running from 10:25 AM to 11:10 AM.
