On December 6, the KPF Director discussed how to connect communities and innovative transportation solutions on a panel in the Texas capital.
On the panel “Major Developments and Updates,” Frank provided insight into Austin’s continuing growth, focusing on placemaking and transit-oriented development, as well as sustainable urban expansion and real estate opportunities at the intersection of a number of neighborhood. He pulled from his experience working in the city and KPF’s growing portfolio of projects in Texas, including One Lady Bird Lake and Waterline, two projects with mixed-use programming that contribute to the vibrancy of Austin’s lakefront.
Frank was joined by Milo Burdette, Partner and Shareholder at Barshop & Oles Company; Sharmila Mukherjee, EVP, Chief Strategic Planning and Development Officer at CapMetro; Michael Iannacone, EVP at The Related Companies L.P.; and Chi Lee, Principal at HKS.
