On July 23, the KPF Principal presented Waterline at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Texas Chapter’s inaugural industry networking event in Austin.
The event, held at 515 Congress Avenue in Austin, convened developers, architects, urban planners, engineers, and sustainability advocates to foster dialogue on the future of Texas cities. As part of the program, Forth shared insights into the design and development of Waterline, a landmark project that redefines Austin’s skyline and enhances the public realm along Waller Creek. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with peers and learn about the innovative projects shaping Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
The KPF-designed Waterline is set to become a new icon for Austin and the tallest building in Texas. Forth’s presentation explored the collaborative process behind Waterline’s development and its role in shaping Austin’s rapidly evolving identity. The event marked a significant milestone for the CTBUH Texas Chapter as it launches its presence in the state and expands its global network.
