Darwin Diaz Presents Digital Fabrication Workflows at Rapid + TCT 2026

On April 13, the KPF Senior Digital Fabrication Specialist presented “Establishing Standards for Mass Customization in Global Architecture” at Rapid + TCT 2026, North America’s largest additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing event.

Darwin discussed how fabrication intelligence embedded in cross-continental workflows accelerates project delivery while maintaining design intent through established standards and repeatable strategies. He explored how Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), combined with digital fabrication workflows, enables large firms to meet the demands of variation, customization, and precision unique to the scale of architecture. Through KPF project case studies, he demonstrated how architectural DfMA differs from industrial production and how rapid workflows enhance collaboration, reduce risk, and deliver fabrication-aware outcomes at scale.

The presentation took place on April 13 from 3:10 PM to 3:40 PM EST at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.
