On December 1, the KPF-designed headquarters building celebrated the milestone in an event attended by the project team and Dajia leadership.
At the topping out event in Shenzhen, Director Florence Chan, Senior Associate Principal William Yumao, and Architectural Designer Wallace Zhao represented the KPF team, where they enjoyed a lively, traditional lion dance. They were joined by the Dajia Group’s General Manager and Real Estate Leader, along with a group of contractors. The project is targeted to complete before the end of 2024.
A prominent addition to Shenzhen’s waterfront skyline, Dajia Finance Tower has a striking, sculptural geometry of vertical lines and concave textures. At the top of the tower, a 30-meter-tall sky garden allows guests to experience tree-lined paths while looking over the city, including views of the neighboring China Resources Tower and Lenovo Houhai Center. The tower is complemented by a shorter building and a retail podium and adds to the district’s network of elevated pedestrian pathways.
