Chad Christie Discusses Large-Scale Developments at Bisnow Salt Lake City

The KPF Director joined a panel entitled “Cityscapes in Transition: The Power of Big Developments” at the Bisnow event on November 13.

In conversation with George Arnold, Partner at Hamilton Partners; Christian Gardner, CEO of The Gardner Group; Arthur Woodbury, CIO and Managing Director of Woodbury Group; Jesse Adkins, Principal at SAR+ Architects; and Alison Weinburg-Fahey, Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, Chad discussed the impact of large-scale development schemes on the real estate market of Salt Lake City. Currently the Design Director of Utah City, a dense new development located just south of the state capital on the Eastern shore of Utah Lake, Chad brought to the discussion first-hand experience of what it means to design and develop the urban landscape of Utah.

Salt Lake City’s commercial real estate market is experiencing significant growth driven by a booming tech sector, a surge in industrial development, and the city’s upcoming role as host for the 2034 Winter Olympics. Mixed-use urban design is reshaping the city to accommodate this growth, a process in which Chad and Utah City are integral. The Bisnow event also covered the underlying drivers of Salt Lake City’s growth, economic state, and real estate trends.

The event took place in Salt Lake City on November 13 at 2pm. Read more here.
