Dallas Magazine’s 2025 Commercial Real Estate Awards Program has named the KPF-designed tower in Uptown as the city’s Best New Office Project.
The Bank of America Tower at Parkside’s design humanizes the office building typology, creating an amenity-filled podium to engage the streetscape, with workspaces located above. Retail stores at the ground level are accompanied by parking above and below to accommodate visitors and workers. Additional amenities include a sky lobby and tenant-only fitness facilities. Rising 30 stories at the corner of North Harwood Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway, the office tower will be the tallest building in Uptown Dallas.
Extending the neighboring Klyde Warren Park, a planted façade scales the podium while landscaped balconies and terraces carry nature vertically through the tower. The project encourages users to take advantage of outdoor areas, breaking down the glass envelope with green open-air spaces and blurring the line between hospitality and commercial design. Bank of America signed on in 2023 to occupy 238,000 square feet of the tower, relocating their Dallas headquarters from Main Street to take advantage of the smaller building’s walkable neighborhood and park-side location.
