The KPF-designed resort in Dubai was the most recognized project among this year’s finalists, featured in five categories for its design, suites, dining, and public spaces in the awards’ Middle East and Africa (MEA) program.
Shortlisted in the Hotel Newbuild, Lobby & Public Spaces, Resort, and Suite categories, in addition to Gastronomy, the hotel’s buffet, in the Restaurant category, Atlantis The Royal was well recognized in the award program’s finalist announcement. The resort includes 795 rooms and 231 residences and offers views over the gulf in one direction and the Palm beaches in the other. With 17 food and beverage options, in addition to multiple pools, spas, and gym facilities, a wide variety of amenities are available to guests.
The Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design (AHEAD) is organized by Sleeper publications. The MEA region received close to 100 entries, with the jury narrowing down three to four finalists for each of the 12 categories. This year’s winners will be announced on September 25th at the W Dubai, The Palm, in a night of celebration. Learn more here and view the full shortlist here.
