A recent piece titled “7 Best Sky Pools in Dubai You Must Visit at Least Once,” described the resort as a “poolside oasis” and an “unforgettable experience” that offers sweeping views of Palm Jumeirah Island, the emirate’s premier resort destination, and Dubai’s skyline beyond.
KPF’s design for Atlantis The Royal features landscaped courts and terraces and ensures that a substantial portion of the hotel rooms and residences have outdoor space, private pools, and shaded gardens. The building’s terraces are linked by a sky-bridge, which features the Cloud 22 Sky Pool among other amenities, and creates the building’s iconic silhouette. Atlantis The Royal serves as an architectural complement to the existing Atlantis, The Palm, itself one of the city’s most prominent buildings. Together, the two form a resort precinct and entertainment destination.
