17xM Tops Out in Washington D.C.

On February 24th, KPF was present on site to celebrate the milestone for the new office building, developed by Skanska.

17xM maximizes views and perimeter offices in the capital city’s Downtown district. The project pulls back from the street wall in key areas to create an inviting urban experience, offering visual relief while marking a distinct entry. The 11-story building provides flexible office spaces for tenants and a private drop-off for tenants and guests. Tenants include the international law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, which recently signed a 16-year lease and will occupy 163,750 square feet of office space.

17xM is the first office building in North America to be SmartScore certified. The program identifies exceptional buildings that meet high standards of sustainability and are “fully future-proof.”
