BXP has announced the start of vertical construction on the all-electric 343 Madison Avenue, a 46-story, 930,000-square-foot office tower designed by KPF, that is set to deliver a new standard for premier workplace environments in Midtown Manhattan.
Located adjacent to Grand Central’s Madison Concourse, 343 Madison Avenue will offer direct transit access and a hospitality-forward amenity program. The tower’s design features a dramatic double-height, client-exclusive club on the uppermost floors, providing spaces for dining, collaboration, and relaxation—indoors and out—with sweeping terraces and expansive Manhattan views. The building’s robust amenity suite includes a lobby café, a comprehensive food and beverage program, and bicycle storage with lockers and showers, all supporting a modern, flexible workplace.
Sustainability and wellness are central to the project, which is targeting LEED Platinum, WELL Core, Energy Star 85+, Fitwel, and WiredScore Platinum certifications. The fully electric tower will operate with zero on-site combustion and a high-efficiency direct outside air system, prioritizing climate resiliency, decarbonization, and occupant health. With a prestigious, investment-grade financial institution set to anchor 30% of the building, 343 Madison is poised to become an iconic address for premier businesses in New York City.
