T. Rowe Price Headquarters Featured in ArchDaily’s 10 Best Unbuilt Projects

KPF’s design for the Baltimore-based investment management firm’s new building made the top 10 list of the current, best, unbuilt architecture.

Earlier this month, KPF revealed the design for the T. Rowe Price’s new headquarters, located within the Harbor Point development. Situated on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the pedestrian-scaled project is comprised of two buildings linked through a lobby atrium and connects to the waterfront and a new park. The project is clad in metal and glass and features large windows that offer views of the water and invite natural light into the building. In addition to its office program, the headquarters also includes 50,000 square feet of retail plus amenity spaces.

Currently under development, Harbor Point is a 27-acre waterfront neighborhood located between Harbor East and Fell’s Point in Baltimore, Maryland. Along with the headquarters for T. Rowe Price, the mixed-use project will ultimately encompass three million square feet of office, retail, residential, and hotel uses, as well as 9.5 acres of open space, prioritizing pedestrians and access to nearby parks.

The T. Rowe Price Headquarters is slated to break ground in early 2022, with building completion targeting mid-2024.
