St Thomas Street East Design Framework is ‘Commended’ in the New London Awards

The KPF-led St Thomas Street East Design Framework in London Bridge has been ‘Commended’ in the New London Awards.

The Framework, an ambitious, joined-up vision for the physical, social and economic transformation of four high-profile sites close to London Bridge station, was commended in the ‘Masterplans & Area Strategies’ category. Delivered through consultation with local residents, groups and businesses, the Framework presents a commercial, cultural and retail destination that will encourage health and wellbeing, as well as creating cultural and employment opportunities whilst respecting heritage of the area. The project was led by KPF, with Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands for CIT, Sellar, Greystar and Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

The New London Awards are organised by New London Architecture and supported by the Mayor of London, to celebrate the very best architecture, planning and new development across the city, making London a better place to live, work and play. See the full list of winners here.
