Designed by KPF, Shoreditch Works will be London’s premier Regenerative Business Hub, an initiative that aims for transformative “net-positive” development, self-reinforcing social, economic, cultural and sustainability benefits.
Linea Properties – a joint venture between HDG Ltd and The Estate Office Shoreditch –has submitted a planning application to the London Borough of Hackney to bring forward the regeneration of the Shoreditch Works site.

Its starts with an aspiration to harness the excess of creativity and innovation in the people and businesses of Hackney and provides a platform for that local talent to have a positive impact on the world.”
Situated at the intersection of Europe’s flagship tech cluster, London’s Fashion District and first Creative Enterprise Zone, and the City of London, Shoreditch Works represents a once-in-a-generation moment to transform an underutilised 1.4 hectare site into a destination that uniquely brings together commercial use, the creative sector, and the community.
The development comprises 400,000 sq. ft (39,000 sqm) of newbuild and c.200,000 sq. ft (21,100 sqm) of modernised office space across a range of building sizes, typologies and rental price points, to provide accommodation for more than 6,000 business, research and creative sector jobs.
The transformation doubles the number of homes to 78 dwellings, including affordable housing for the first time.
