Rebecca Cheng Participates in Roundtable on Women in Architecture

The Women in Architecture Digital Nexus (WIADN) was hosted by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)’s China chapter in honor of International Women’s Day in March. The roundtable comprised two parts. First the speakers discussed their careers and the opportunities and challenges faced as women in architecture. The conversation highlighted the importance of mentorship and the speakers shared ways to promote gender equality in the profession. The second portion was a Q&A on topics such as how to improve diversity in the profession and how to empower and help women in the balance between work and family.

Rebecca was joined by Valeria Passetti, RIBA VP Membership, Member of the RIBA Board of Trustees, Director of Conception Architects; Susanna Swee, Managing Principal at Shanghai and Executive Vice President Asia at B+H; Michelle Yip, Founding Partner of FEI Architects and Fei Arts; and Zhang Di, Founder and Principal at waa Architects.
