The KPF-designed project was shortlisted in the Best Mixed-Use or Commercial Tall Building category in this year’s Tall Building Awards.
The development features retail, boutique hotel, office, and high-end residential programming. Located in the London Borough of Hackney, One Crown Place blends old with new to create a dynamic city block activated on all sides. The building heights range from mid- to high-rise, where the façades of each complement and contrast with the historical setting. The building’s contractor, Mace, was also shortlisted in the Best Tall Building Contractor category.
The Tall Building Awards were created to celebrate the development of unique designs and engineering solutions that maximize space in dense environments and create iconic structures on the UK skyline. The winners will be announced in a ceremony following the Tall Buildings Conference on June 21st in London. View the full shortlist here.
