Mustafa Chehabeddine Discusses Sustainable Cities after Covid-19

KPF Design Principal, Mustafa Chehabeddine gave an online presentation and participated in a panel discussion on ‘Building Sustainable Cities after Covid-19’ at The Prince’s Foundation.

Mustafa’s presentation used recent KPF projects to explore ideas that have been accelerated by the pandemic, such as the changing nature of the workplace, decentralisation, wellness, transportation and resilience.

The panel was chaired by Dr Matthew Hardy, Senior Associate Tutor at University of Oxford, with Malcolm Smith, Global Masterplanning and Urban Design Leader at Arup and James Gross, Co-Founder of Urban Place Lab.

The event was part of the MSc in Sustainable Urban development, which introduces students to sustainable urbanism, as both an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary subject at global and local scales. The course is run as a partnership between The Prince’s Foundation and the University of Oxford, find out more here.
