Students of the MSc Low Energy Building Services course had an in-depth introduction to the potential for computational environmental analysis to inform sustainable design.
Led by Anurag Biswas (Environmental Performance Specialist) and Elias Anka (Senior Environmental Designer), the workshop explored net-zero design and strategies to help deliver sustainability goals.
The informative workshop demonstrated how specialist research and analysis can impact design decisions, while also aligning with budgeting costs and delivering net-zero goals. Showcasing the cutting-edge workflows and advanced early stage analysis of the KPF team, the students had hands-on training with Ladybug Tools and learnt how to apply computational tools in their own studies.
