As part of a series of events celebrating the opening of the renovated Shanghai office, last week, the firm hosted a discussion about wellness in architecture with the local AIA chapter.
The event focused on the healthy workplace and strategies for designing a WELL certified space, highlighting the KPF Shanghai office as a case study. After opening remarks from AIA Shanghai President Kathy Zhu-Schleiss, the audience heard from Zhengrui (Robert) Wu, Vice President of IWBI China, and Vickie Chen, General Manager of Sustainability Development Department at Shui On Land. The final presentation of the evening was by KPF Architectural Designer Hanning Liu, leader of the office’s WELL certification process, who discussed the project. The event closed with a Q&A session.
