KPF Renovation of 280 Park Avenue Triggers Surge In Interest From Tenants

KPF re-envisioned the public plaza, lobby and full block experience of the sucessful renovated original 1960s office tower.

The KPF-designed renovation of 280 Park Avenue is reported to have helped the building’s owners Vornado Realty Trust Ltd and SL Green Realty Corp. to sign a new tenant and expand the lease of existing ones, with rents each in the triple digits per square foot. The project re-envisioned the public plaza, lobby and full block experience of the original 1960s office tower. The improvements are said to have contributed to the successful leasing of the entire 42-story Manhattan building.
