KPF Named One of the Top Firms for Airport Facilities in BD+C’s Annual Ranking

Building Design + Construction released their list of the top architecture firms in the nation’s largest sector, with KPF earning the 11th spot.

The publication bases their rankings on the annual Giants 400 Report, which consists of firms self-submitting their revenue across various sectors from the previous year. In BD+C’s overall Top Architecture Firms list for 2021, KPF ranked 7th overall, improving on 2020’s 10th place. KPF was also ranked 4th in the University Giants ranking.

KPF’s current work includes Abu Dhabi International Airport, where the new Midfield Terminal Complex will welcome 50 million travelers per year, and serve as a gateway to the rapidly expanding Middle East capital. Changi Airport Terminal 5 expands upon one of the busiest international airports in the world, with KPF working alongside Heatherwick Studio as design partners.

KPF’s US airport portfolio includes US Airways International Terminal 1 at Philadelphia International Airport, which presents passengers with a convenient and comfortable travel experience through a distinct, light-filled, elegant facility. KPF’s design for Buffalo Niagara International Airport unites two previously separate terminals into one efficient structure.
