KPF London Volunteers at Arlington House

KPF London put on their gardening gloves to design and create a community garden at the homeless hostel, Arlington House.

Partnered with the Volunteer Centre Camden, KPF participated as part of Team UP – an initiative that connects locals businesses with volunteering opportunities in their communities.

After transforming an empty roof space into an garden retreat, the team provided technical landscape drawings as well as gardening equipment to Arlington House.  The garden is the foundation for a new therapeutic gardening program run by hostel residents.

Arlington is the largest mixed use homeless hostel in the UK and helps people to move on to secure homes and more stable futures, and to support homeless people to find a way to independence.
