KPF Hosts Tech Week 2026

From June 15 to 18, KPF celebrated its sixth annual Tech Week with technology-focused keynotes, workshops, and events that took place in the firm’s New York and London offices.

Organized by KPF’s Design Technology team, Tech Week is an opportunity for designers across the firm to engage with emerging tools, explore how technologies such as AI are reshaping architectural workflows, and spark conversation around the future of practice.

In New York, the week opened with a keynote “The Intelligence Layer” by George Guida, Founder and CEO of xFigura, which traced the past, present, and future of design technology and highlighted KPF’s use of AI. Designers engaged in hands-on workshops, spanning a Vibe Coding Hackathon, AI Film Festival, façade performance visualization with the Environmental Performance team, an introduction to Speckle’s cross-platform collaboration tools, and a D5 for Rhino primer led by Design Technology Consultant Millie Yoshida. Vendor lounges from xFigura, Graitec, Autodesk, and D5 Render offered additional opportunities to explore the latest tools firsthand. The week closed with an evening session by urbanist Greg Lindsay examining the pathways through which AI could reshape the AEC sector, followed by a happy hour hosted by TAD.

In London, the week opened with an Environmental Performance Showcase and a Meet the Design Technology Team Breakfast before expanding into a vendor showcase, where designers explored tools from Arkio, Bentley, Chaos, xFigura, Autodesk, Finch, Ideate, Reope, and Speckle. Wednesday’s keynote, delivered by Niall Boxhall of Formula 1 on high-performance data, was followed by a happy hour, sponsored by HP. An AI Film Festival, an Awards Ceremony, and a closing Vibe Coding workshop brought the week to a close.

KPF Tech Week 2026 was sponsored by Autodesk, D5 Render, HP, Graitec, Revizto, Runway AI, Sentio VR, Speckle Studio, and xFigura.
