KPF is proud to be at the forefront of discussions on AI in architecture, hosting the “AI in Practice” event for the Design Technology User Group (DTUG) at its London office.
DTUG, co-founded by KPF’s Head of BIM and Senior Associate Principal, Martin Wilding, is dedicated to championing the balance between democratizing access to information, fostering knowledge-sharing around technology, and enabling smart-working practices.
During the public event, industry leaders explored current applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within architectural practice. Martin and KPF Visualisation Specialist, Anna Mytcul, showcased KPF’s innovative use of AI for visualisation and custom solutions.
Guest speakers included Allister Lewis, founder of Automated Data Driven Design (ADDD.io) who presented a framework for integrating AI-led and generative design tools in practice; Keir Regan-Alexander, co-founder of OmniChat.uk and Principal at Arka Works Ltd who explored the art of “prompt-craft” for optimizing interactions with Large Language Models; and Guiseppe Bono, Head of Design Computation at TP Bennett, who shared valuable insights of AI applications within architectural workflows.
