KPF Environmental Design Director Featured on Design:ED Podcast

Carlos Cerezo Davila discussed how KPF is implementing sustainable design strategies, the story of his career path, and the value of an international perspective in the architecture industry.

Cerezo Davila emphasized the importance of long-term thinking when designing sustainable projects and utilizing efficient, adaptable strategies like those of HKUST(GZ), a large urban campus with ambitious goals of carbon neutrality and zero water waste. He also addressed the importance of material sourcing and measuring embodied carbon, using a number of KPF’s repositioning projects in New York City as case studies, including 390 Madison, Hudson Commons, and One Madison.
