Jonah Hansen Speaks at Bisnow’s Nashville State of the Market Event

With expertise in luxury residential and office building design, the KPF Director discussed his views and experience in market-driven urban development in the music city on July 31.

Jonah brought his perspective on residential development and office design to Tennessee as he discussed burgeoning trends in the East Bank neighborhood’s real-estate market. As project manager for KPF’s work on Nashville’s sweeping plan for the Cumberland River’s East Bank, Jonah spoke to the team’s emphasis on creating an engaging public realm. Set to include affordable housing, hotels, transit centers, retail and a new stadium for the Titans, the area presents a rare opportunity to create a downtown neighborhood from scratch.

Moderated by Aron Thompson, the Executive Director of the Real Estate Developers (R.E.D.) Academy, Jonah was joined on the panel by three urban development executives with stake in the local real-estate market. The conversation addressed rezoning efforts, recent market rankings and notable demand drivers, among other topics.

Held at the Hilton Nashville, the event began at 8am on July 31 with Jonah speaking at 10:45am. Learn more about the event here.
