KPF’s Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, China, has been listed as a finalist in the 2015 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Awards for Excellence, one of the industry’s most prestigious awards programs. The award recognizes the achievement of excellence in land use practice, with projects selected by a jury who represent a range of real estate development expertise. As the new signature landmark in Shanghai’s Jing An district, KPF’s shortlisted project transforms the superblock paradigm by allowing permeability through the dynamic mixed-use program, featuring two towers, podium retail, a 508 room Shangri-La hotel, an event center and office amenities. KPF has received the ULI Global Award for Excellence previously for Hysan Place in Hong Kong (2013), and Tour First in Paris (2012). Winners will be announced in October.
