Baker Circle Launches Sales in Hong Kong

Principal Bernard Chang attended a press conference to celebrate the KPF-designed large-scale revitalization project, launching sales within the development.

Comprised of seven parcels and nine towers, Baker Circle is a development of scale rare in Hong Kong. Located in Kowloon’s Hung Hom district, the design pays homage to the area’s shipbuilding history and warehouse typologies. The site is divided into a series of finely-grained urban destinations, including small pavilions and varied public spaces that promote seamless pedestrian flow.

Designed to be an urban oasis that promotes well-being for tenants and the community, the project integrates plentiful outdoor terraces, incorporates solar panels at the street level, and targets LEED and WELL certification. Earlier this year, Baker Circle won a LIV Hospitality Award in the residential category, and last year, the project was shortlisted in the MIPIM Awards.

The Standard, Hong Kong’s biggest circulation English daily newspaper, reported on the early success of Baker Circle, noting Henderson Land development ‘has received more than 1,280 checks for 182 flats on offer at Baker Circle Dover in Hung Hom, making the batch six times oversubscribed.’
