The Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires included a temporary installation of KPF’s traveling exhibit, which demonstrates the firm’s attention to craft, from the low-rise, residential neighborhood to the mixed-use, supertall tower.
On October 15th, KPF Making opened within the Argentine city’s Usina Del Arte, a former electrical power plant-turned-arts venue. This iteration featured five primary projects – Abu Dhabi International Airport, China Resources Tower, Hudson Yards, International Commerce Centre, and One Vanderbilt – alongside five secondary projects – CITIC Tower, Lotte World Tower, One Jackson Square, SOHO Gubei, and Vista Guanabara. The composition of short and long walls formed a zigzag pattern, encouraging the viewer to meander through the dynamic space.
Since 1985, the Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires – or International Architecture Biennial of Buenos Aires – fosters cross-cultural dialogue through presentations and exhibitions held by world-renowned architects. The event lasted from October 15th through 20th, with keynote speakers scheduled for October 15th through 18th. Find more information about the event here.
